A - If you've ever picked up a soldering iron, you're more than experienced enough to make the safe. You need to solder exactly 1 component (3 legs) and 4 wires to a board, then 2 other clips onto wires. The rest is cutting wires and screwing connectors together.

I wanted to make the design requiring no soldering at all, but couldn't quite make it work.

I've attempted step-by-step instructions, although these will get better as more people have a go at it and contribute feedback.
